This site is GREAT it gives you an insight into the History of the breed and also has links and information to all the Pedigree Racing Whippet clubs but also goes into depth with Racing, Showing, Obedience and Breed Clubs. It also includes a News Update Page.

This is a Very interesting site for all Longdog Owners as it tells us about the American Style Lure Coursing as well as the type that we use in our country Coursing Events.

" BRILLIANT " site full of links to everything that any Whippet owner could want, ranging from Poetry, Pictures, Whippet books, Art and History pages, as well as links to Clubs all over the World.
And there are links to Whippet Rescue sites which are very important indeed.
The Venture Drag Racing Club.
A different type of lure Racing where Dogs run in Pairs in a race called a " Stake," over a 400 yard uphill course after being released by the " Slipper," it is a very energy sapping race which the dogs have to be very fit to take part.
The Northern.P.W.R.C. Web Site.
This is a new Web site set up by the club and has a lot of informative pages about the Club, Dogs and up and coming events in the race calendar, it also has forums for contacting the Club and it's members. And i must say that after reading the results from the 1st champs, their dogs seem to be the one's to watch out for in the months ahead and we at the Scottish.P.W.R.C. would like to wish them all the best for the Future.
